Intrinsic Foundation, more commonly referred to as IF Cares, was established in 2004 as a 501 (c)(3) organization with the mission to assist individuals develop the essential elements to be successful throughout their stages of life.

What does that mean exactly?  Well, to IF Cares that means equipping individuals with the tools and resources to be successful as a person, student, parent, worker, etc.

The backbone of IF Cares is a strong team of diverse individuals with the passion and drive to achieve excellence through greatness.  Each of our team members is encouraged to tap into their individuals gifts.  The gifts that make them the great person they are!

Excellence through greatness is IF Cares expression to work at what you are not just good at but what you are great at so you are joyful in your success and more likely to sustain that success no matter what comes your way.

IF Cares works as a team and does not get bogged down by titles and status.  Everyone on the IF Cares team is held accountable and is accountable for each team member. 

A tem is a unit so if one member of the team is not successful, the team is not successful.

Intrinsic is an adjective meaning belonging to the essential nature or constitution of a thing.  For IF Cares our team is the intrinsic value of the foundation.  The team of individuals is what makes IF Cares what it is.

IF Cares believes the essential elements for an individual to be successful includes nutrition, healthy and nurturing relationships, physical activity, financial security and job skills.

The IF Cares team has set out to create awareness about child food insecurity by feeding as many children as possible during the summer months when healthy meals are not accessible to many children when not in school.

IF Cares fosters nurturing relationships by partnering and engaging with other community organizations and churches in healthy relationship building activities while also encouraging physical activity to support the fight against obesity.

Through partnership with its corporate partners, IF Cares provides financial education workshops and income tax preparation to encourage financial security and hosts job skills training to assist individuals transition into the workforce.
